Investors Lending is looking for full-time, experienced Mortgage Originators who will help to increase our mortgage loan portfolio by developing business contacts, attracting new mortgage customers, and processing and closing mortgage loans. The right candidate will be college educated (minimum Associates Degree), have full knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC and Sub Prime lending guidelines, possess exceptional financial, analytical and verbal communication skills and be adept with financial software. The ability to maintain customer confidence at all times by keeping mortgage loan information confidential absolutely essential. Commission is commensurate with experience with limitless potential for growth.
* Minimim $495 to ILG/transaction. A combo loan is consider one transaction.
Duties:
- Meet mortgage loan operational standards by contributing mortgage loan information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; and identifying mortgage loan system improvements.
- Attract new mortgage loan applications by developing relationships within the community, specifically the real estate community; and making sales calls to prospective customers.
- Evaluate loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness; improve loan applications and documentation by informing applicants of additional requirements; and reject loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants.
- Complete mortgage loans by monitoring collection, verification and preparation of mortgage loan documentation.
- Keep job skills current by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
